Woke up at like 9:30 cuz I had work at 11, got there and met the new girl Kamal who's kind of a bitch tbh. She kept like bossing me around I was like BIIITCH I HAVE BEEN HERE LONGER THAN U HOP OFF MY D. But at lunch we literally got slammed. SO MANY PEOPLE. I was dying. And Tina was flipping tits. But we made it through and I got outta there at like 3:15 which is kinda late but wutev.
So I called Mattie Roes and we met up and got pedicures, and not gonna lie mine was fuckin SICK. I haven't gotten a design on my nails since I was like 8 but they asked and we were like HAY WHY NOT so then we did and it was totally worth the extra mula. Then I texted Taylor and asked him if Mattie could come tonight to the Hunger Games MN 2013 and he was like lol k. so we were off.
We went back to Mattie's house cuz she wanted help making a resume and since apparently I'm really good at that shit I helped her with everything and it was actually pretty legit looking. She was applying at like a deli or something which is cool I guess. Then Mattie went to print it and I took some selfies with her dog Wilbur and we were off. She went to turn in her job app and I went home, and she took for fuckin ever so I started playing piano and she opened the door to my house and alas there I was.. playing The Beatles by myself. just too typical.
So then Mattie and I wanted to run so we went up Ridge Road to Annie Fagerlee's house and back and it was PERF the weather was PERF I was lovin it. We got back at 7:30 and realized the thing started at 8 and freaking out we both sprinted into the showers and I literally took the fastest shower of my life. I think it was about 6 minutes (for you male readers out there, that's a long time for a girl. Just kidding there clearly are no male readers). Then I threw on my party fowl bro tank, athletic shorts, and emergency Hogwarts sweatshirt (in case things got chilly) and we were off. Oh and I made 2 pb&j's in about 1 minute that is no exaggeration it was fuckin unreal I was so speedy. Lol #subwayperks!
And this is where the night begins...Hunger Games MN 2013. Taylor, Josie, Jimmy, Sam, Elisa, Jeremy (shelbz ex-bf lol acca-AWKWARD) and literally 20 other people joined us at the fields of Deephaven Elementary to commence battle. Of course everyone was wearing all black and me and Mattie come down in our red&white bro tanks. So we went up to the car to change (I KNEW the Hogwarts sweatshirt would come in handy) and came back down and Elisa&Jimmy explained the rules.
Okay so there were these weapons laying everywhere on the field we met, and once Mia sounded the blowhorn we were supposed to grab whatever we could and go run in to the forest. We all had teams, or "districts" of 2, but everyone just formed alliances it was lame but hey I was okay with it cuz I had macho football boy Jake Busche on my side. There were apparently water balloons and other weaponry in the forest set out for people to find too. And if you get hit by 3 water balloons or stabbed once in the heart you were dead. So yeah. Mia (who of course was not at all dressed for the occasion) sounded the blowhorn, and me and my partner (Madeline Lunzer) grabbed sum lightsabers and were off.
Our game plan was to hide by the porta potty and snag some sneak attacks, but that didn't happen so we went into the woods. We were walking down a path and we heard voices and so we hid behind this massive tree but Jake saw us and nailed me with literally 4 WATER BALLOONS. So I was dead I guess and he killed Madeline too so we just kind of followed them around cuz we didn't wanna just go back to the cornucopia with all of the lame ppl. So we chased all the hooligans around and nailed some bitches with water balloons, and after a good hour and a half decided to go back to the cornucopia and see what was up.
So we went there and people just kind of started to congregate gradually until everyone was there except Jeremy because he was super into it and no one could find him in the woods until literally 15 minutes later. Then we all went up to the parking lot and Sam, Taylor, Riley, and Jeremy fought to the death for the grand prize of $20 and an extremely ratchet trophy. Taylor whipped out a bag of flour and slew all the bitches. Everyone was literally covered in flour it was awesome. Then Riley and Jeremy got out and it was just Taylor and Sam, but in the end Taylor reigned victorious. It was a magical moment.
After that we told everyone we were going to Perkins, but then decided on Excelsior McD's in Chan. I felt bad cuz Jer didn't get the memo since no one had his number hahaha. But ok so when we were turning off of Vine Hill this car passed me and Mattie on our left and I totally thought it was one of our friends from the Games so I flipped them off but it actually WASN'T and it was a 50 year old man. He FREAKED out and started following us. At first he tried to drive up to us and see our faces, but then he started FOLLOWING us. I mean high speed mad car chase. Like he followed us through all these windy roads and neighborhoods and shit and we literally thought we were gonna die tonight. But then finally we lost him and turned off the lights and the car for like 5 minutes just to make sure.
We went to McDonalds and I got a dipped cone and it was SO fuckin good and a good 15 people showed up so that was awesome. We all looked so ratchet though with our flour, face paint, and soaked clothes. Yeah then of course Noah calls Michael asking to hang out even though we invited him but he thought it was "stupid" so he didn't go. Well let me tell you my friend you MISSED OUT BIG TIME. Then I was like hey guys let's go swimming so we all went to Sean's lake house (lol TRESPASSING SWAG) and parked literally 10 cars along his driveway at 11 o'clock at night and sprinted into the water. Meredith was wearing her freaking leggings and tank top SUCKS but it was so cold holy shit. But strangely refreshing at the same time. So idk. Yeah then we all high fived and giggled our way back to our cars and went home. Best. Night. Ever.
