Yesterday I woke up went to work and came home. Then Elza and Mattie came and picked me up, and we wanted to go get henna tattoos somewhere. So we google mapped it on Mattie's iPhone and it brought us to this super sketchy apartment complex in EP and we had no idea what to do so of course they send ME inside to go talk to the guy. I awkwardly asked if there was a henna artist in the building and he just kind of laughed said no and told me to leave. It was awful. Then we went to Michaels and got white t shirts and paint so we could splatter paint ourselves in the park, but effing Elza was being the BIGGEST buzzkill and didn't even buy a shirt or anything. So me and Mattie bought our shizz and went back to my house and lazed around and ate frosted animal crackers.
Then Mad Dawg came over and we just kept douching around and looking at FB pics of these girls that get like 100 likes on every picture and just made fun of them. We're literally so awful. Then they all left cuz I had fuckin family dinner which was AWFUL and my parents reminded me yet again I have no future and made me CRY so I didn't do anything for the rest of the night except watch reruns of the best show EVER, Awkward. Literally watched 5 episodes alone in my bed in the wee hours of the night.
Then my friend Hannah texts me and is like k hi we're bringing you tacos and I'm like ok?? So they roll up with a 24 pack of Doritos Locos and honestly I couldn't help but to drive away with them. So I quick went upstairs and asked my sleeping mother if I could slumbo at Hannah's and her response was "k bye" so I left. We went through puddles and ate tacos and I would not have had it any other way. We all got back to Hannah's and douched around some more and I literally did not fall asleep until like 3 cuz of all the chitter chatter that was going in the room down from me.
So I awoke at 7:48 the next morning with the daily angry call from mom telling me I had to go to Feed My Starving Children. I told her that was absolutely not happening because the forecast was 80 degrees and sunny. So I stayed home ran and washed my car. It was fab. Then I went to go pick Madelyn up and I got to her house and friggin Ryan was there in his indie as fuck floral snapback and I'm just like k. Then he dissed my country music (AGAIN) and I drove him home. On our way back to my house, Madelyn and I were stopped by a lemonade stand and it was literally the cutest thing ever so we went and it was SO GOOD. Then we went back to my house and Mattie came and picked us up and we were off. Lake Calhoun- ONWARD.
Once we got to Calhoun, we instantly snagged our towels and ran to the closest tanning spot on the grass. I got hella sunburned. It's kind of really bad but I kind of love it. SUMMER IS FINALLY HERE GOD DAMMIT. So after like an hour and a half of tanning we walked like a mile to this restaurant on the lake called Tin Fish IN OUR FLIP FLOPS. My feet now feel like there are daggers being stabbed through them at this very moment. But yeah at Tin Fish two people fainted from the heat it was so scary. The ambulance and stuff were even there.
Yeah so I got walleye tacos which were un fuckin real and then as we were eating them Anna Winzenburg from my freshman JO volleyball team came up to me and said hi! I was so pumped I love her. We shared some lolz, she took our picture, and then we waltzed on back to the car cuz Mattie realized she had soccer in like an hour. We literally barely made it. Oh and we blasted Jonas Brothers the whole car ride obviously.
I got home tired a'f and my mom made me go shopping at Fleet Farm with her. At first I was not excited in the slightest, but then I remembered my mom's a cripple so I snagged some pics of her on her little scooooter. I was literally crying she was hauling ass around the store on that thing. I'm pretty sure I tweeted a pic of it and got like 15 favorites hahahah. Then we went to Cub Foods and she did the same thing. SHE RODE THE SCOOTER! Just so great.
Then Reilly and CK and Pete came over and we made noodles and were gonna jump in the water at seans lake house but didnt then we were gonna go to this haunted house then didnt. it was kind of lamesauce but wutev.
